Something For Every Guest
Before you know it another set of holidays will be here, and you know what that means: lots of parties. And while some people may see this as a stressful time to plan the perfect event, we love it. Of course, there's a lot that goes into planning a party. You need to consider location, food options and drinks—and then there are all of the details!
But don't fret just yet; I'm here to help you take the guesswork out of getting your event together. Today we'll be taking a look at some things that will make each guest happy at any gathering! So grab your party planner (or notebook), mark down these items for future use and let's get started!
For the red wine drinker
Red wine is best served with food, but you don't need to do anything fancy for it. The simple act of adding a little red wine to your dish can make all the difference. Whether you're cooking or eating something that's already tasty, just drizzle some on top and enjoy! It goes well with everything from pasta to beef stew—and if you're feeling adventurous, try adding different types of berries (including blueberries) before serving.
You can also enjoy red wine while reading or relaxing outside in the sun—just make sure it's not too hot out!
For the white wine drinker
A good white wine is a crowd pleaser. Everyone who likes to drink can enjoy it, whether they prefer sweet or dry wines. And if you’re looking for something that everyone will enjoy, this is it!
A good white wine won’t break the bank. You don’t want to spend money on something that isn’t going to be appreciated by your guests—that means no $200 bottles of Chardonnay here! The best selections for you will be priced between $10-$30 per bottle (and honestly, even less than that).
A good white wine isn't too expensive or cheap. It should also be balanced in terms of taste and price so that people can enjoy your selection without feeling guilty about spending too little or too much money on alcohol at your party
For the bubbly connoisseur
Whether you're a seasoned champagne connoisseur or an amateur who loves the bubbly, there's something new to learn. We've got some tips on how to open a bottle of champagne without breaking its neck or spraying your guests with fizz. We'll also help you decide which type of champagne is best for your party, as well as how and when to serve it. Finally, we have suggestions for foods that pair perfectly with each variety of sparkling wine—whether you're serving up a simple mimosa or planning an elegant dinner party and want to wow your guests with a more sophisticated beverage option.
For the charcuterie board fan
A charcuterie board is a fun way to bring out your inner hostess. It’s also an easy, delicious appetizer that will impress even the pickiest of guests. So how do you make one?
First, choose the board: If you have a large cutting board with grooves, it works well for serving this type of dish. If not, look for one that’s at least two feet long and not too deep so that food doesn't fall off when served. Then get ready to spread on some cheese and meat—as much as it takes (this is where your budget comes in). Next up is the accompaniments; these can include crackers or crostini for spreading or dunking into spreads like hummus or tapenade; olives; roasted red peppers; sun-dried tomatoes; pickled mushrooms; nuts such as almonds, pecans or walnuts (my favorites); banana chips (a great crunchy snack option); cornichons (another good pairing with cheeses); marinated artichoke hearts and/or olives—whatever sounds good! Finally prepare a few sauces like fig jam/jelly for fruitier flavors like blue cheese or honey mustard dressing for others like brie/camembert cheese boards with grapes etc...
